Visual Disturbance

Robbie was in a much more pleasant mood last night, in fact he was doing his best to be very helpful. So when I mentioned that I was having difficulty viewing the television because a furry interference preventing me from seeing the bottom third of the screen, he assured me that he could see perfectly. He came over to look from where I was sitting, he could still see, he crouched on the floor and finally admitted that there may be a slight imperfection in the picture. I told him that was not what I was seeing, I was losing the whole bottom third of the screen. He got increasingly cross because he couldn't see the problem, so I drew it for him, then he got cross because he had been wound up, but he agreed that moving the sofa a little would solve the problem.

Help He's Driving Me Mad!

Not a very good end to the day. Sam had one of the sort of mishaps that could only possibly happen to him. He 'accidentally' dragged a magnet across the TV screen and damaged the picture quality. Thankfully Robbie was out at the time so Sam survived! I found an interesting site with some thoughts about curing the problem. Are there any experts out there who can offer advice?

Robbie was in the car when I picked Emily up this evening. We saw a 'plain clothes' police car with blue lights in the front. That set Robbie off, out of the blue (so to speak!) he asked if I remembered Kojak. The simple answer was no, nothing more than the name and the lollipop anyway. Suddenly Robbie opened the car window and slammed his hand on the roof of the car, in an effort to recreate the sensation of Kojak slamming the blue light on top of the car at the start of a car chase. He repeated the process including the GBH to the car roof for Starsky and Hutch and the Sweeney. By this time my nerves were in tatters, but just to make completely sure that I would be a jibbering wreck he serenaded me with police siren noises in various American accents. If only I could afford an ejector seat!!
