I don't get many comments left on the blog (except when Richard gets a bee in his bonnet) but I do get a steady flow of verbal feedback. It always surprises me that the trivia of our daily lives interests and amuses my readers. Last week somebody said that reading about Robbie's antics always cheered him up when he was having a bad day, he seemed to think that our lives were uncomplicated. It doesn't always feel like that from my point of view, but I'm not complaining.
I have been struggling to get Robbie's attention this week. On Monday evening the phone rang and Robbie disappeared upstairs with the phone, he emerged a little later to announce that Marion needed him and he may have to go out a little later. I wasn't worried, she only wanted to borrow him for his computer skills! After a couple more phone calls it was decided that Robbie would visit on Wednesday evening instead. He came back to the lounge but I noticed that he was suspiciously quiet and I realised that he was deep in conversation with someone on the internet, apparently it was a woman from work. All these women, perhaps the 'Wild Woman' was right about his harem after all!!
Yesterday he went to see Hadouken and was out until after midnight, tonight he is at Marion's, I wonder what he has planned for tomorrow. I don't mean to moan, I enjoy the peace and quiet and I was rather glad to get rid of him this evening because he was lowering the tone, in fact him and Sam were giggling at the naughty bits on the television like two mischievous little boys. Robbie always enjoys watching Trinny and Susannah, but tonight they were mounting a crusade against ill fitting bras and Robbie was in his element. I finally dragged him away from the TV and delivered him to Marion, but he insisted on recording the programme on the sky box to watch when he gets home. He is challenging at times!
